Iron Fist Season 2 Review: It Got Better

Ask anyone who has watched the Marvel Netflix shows and they’ll tell you Iron Fist Season 1 is the bad one. Every other series has been outstanding on one level or another, but there were a lot of issues that plagued the introduction of Iron Fist. The character grew a bit more with Defenders, and when used in the second season of Luke Cage, we finally saw the Danny Rand fans know and love. The new season is without a doubt a step up from the first season, but it does still have some flaws.

SDCC: Iron Fist Season 2

The 2018 San Diego International Comic Con has begun, and we’re going to be covering the news breaking out from the SDCC all weekend! The MCU proper may not be at this year’s SDCC, but the Netflix side of the Marvel Universe did appear briefly. Jeff Loeb, the head of Marvel’s TV division hosted a panel for the upcoming second season of Iron Fist. Stars Finn Jones, Jessica Henwick, Simone Missick, Alice Eve, showrunner Raven Metzner and Black Panther stunt coordinator Clayton Barbe were also on hand to discuss the series. A few clips were revealed as well as a teaser which you can watch below.

Prelude to SDCC: Marvel Netflix Shows

In anticipation of this year’s San Diego Comic-Con, we’re looking at everything we know will be there some things that may show up, and what we know about the various projects thus far. The San Diego Comic Con is the biggest pop culture convention in the world, and many studios release new information on projects, new trailers, and much more over the five days of the convention. Today we’re taking a look at the Iron Fist and the Marvel/Netflix Shows.

SDCC: Netflix’s Defenders Panel and Trailer (with a Taste of Punisher)

In the fall of 2013 it was announced that Marvel was working on creating TV series for Daredevil, Jessica Jones, Iron Fist and Luke Cage. The plan being for them to all then group together in a separate team up series The Defenders. Netflix picked up the project, starting with Season 1 of Daredevil. Since then the properties have become huge Hits for Netflix and Marvel and have led to a second season for Daredevil, with a third on the way, second seasons of Jessica Jones and Luke Cage currently in production, a Punisher spinoff coming late this year and the group series Defenders hitting Netflix this August.
