SDCC: The Lego Movie 2: The Second Part! Panel and Footage Description!

The 2018 San Diego International Comic Con has come to a close but we still have TONS of news from the yearly event! As part of WB’s panels at this year’s SDCC they had a presentation on the upcoming sequel, The Lego Movie 2: The Second Part. Writers and Producers Chris Miller and Phil Lord were joined by cast members Chris Pratt, Elizabeth Banks, and Stephanie Beatriz. They showed some small footage from the film, and talked about the upcoming sequel. The film picks up five years after the first movie, and the invasion of the Duplo “aliens.” Bricksburg is now Apocalypseburg, a Mad Max inspired wasteland.

SDCC: Godzilla King of Monsters

The 2018 San Diego International Comic Con has come to a close but we still have TONS of news from the yearly event! As part of WB’s panels at this year’s SDCC they had a presentation on the upcoming sequel, Godzilla: King of the Monsters. The film is a sequel to the 2014 film, and will be followed up by the Godzilla and King Kong (Skull Island) crossover film. King of the Monsters will feature everyone’s favorite Kaiju facing off against Mothra, Rodan and the three-headed monster King Ghidorah. Director Michael Dougherty and cast members Millie Bobby Brown, Vera Farmiga, O’Shea Jackson Jr., and Thomas Middleditch were all on hand for the panel which included the first trailer for the film. SDCC: “Crimes of Grindelwald” Takes Us Back to Hogwarts

The 2018 San Diego International Comic Con has come to a close but we still have TONS of news from the yearly event! The fall will bring the return of the Wizarding World of Harry Potter to the big screen with, Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Gindelwald. As part of WB’s series of panels at SDCC, the cast was on hand to answer a few questions and debut the new trailer for the film. Check out the trailer below followed by some details from the panel.

SDCC: Aquaman Trailer and Footage Revealed

The 2018 San Diego International Comic Con is in full swing and we’ve got all the big updates you want to hear about! Every year there’s a question of who “won Comic Con.” This year it seems as though DC has finally taken that mantle after years of disappointment and uncertainty. The biggest highlight of Warner Brothers panels was the Aquaman panel, which featured Director James Wan and stars, Jason Momoa, Amber Heard, Nicole Kidman, Patrick Wilson and Yahya Abdul Mateen II. Check out the first trailer for Aquaman below, followed by details from the panel and info on the additional footage screened at SDCC.

“Joker” Solo Film Set for 2019

The world went crazy a few months back went word got out that DC/Warner Brothers was setting up a solo Joker film. The film would be a gritty crime drama rumored to be focused on the origin of the Clown Prince of Crime. Todd Phillips (The Hangover) signed on to direct the film, with Martin Scorsese producing. Since then we’ve seen a whole lot of developments that make this film even more intriguing.

Prelude to SDCC: DC Comics Superhero Films

In anticipation of this year’s San Diego Comic-Con we’re looking at everything we know will be there, some things that may show up, and what we know about the various projects thus far. Ready Player One: Spoiler Free Review

The highly anticipated film adaptation of Ernest Cline’s novel Ready Player One hit theatres this weekend. Directed by Steven Spielberg with a Script by Cline and Zak Penn, the film stars Tye Sheridan as Wade Watts. A teenager living in a dystopian future, where the majority of humanity has decided to spend most of their life in a VR platform called the Oasis.
